SATURDAY 13 OCTOBER 2007
CHORAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP : Sing at First Sight Southwick Methodist Church Hall, Manor Hall Road 2pm
An exciting NEW course in how to sight-sing specifically designed for singers in choirs.  Practical performance of music has the ability to inspire and give pleasure to almost everyone.  The ability to sight-sing can enhance these musical experiences further and improve your I.Q. at the same time!  This enjoyable workshop is designed for all those wishing to improve and develop their existing sight-singing skills.  New reading concepts will be introduced using both rhythmic and pitch exercises, active participation and real choral excerpts.

A dazzling array of seasonal favourites with traditional CAROLS FOR ALL.  Special guests will be one of London’s Premiere Brass Ensembles ‘MardiBrass’ who return by popular demand following their acclaimed appearance last December.  Poulenc’s vibrant ‘Gloria’ and Chilcott’s joyous ‘Jazz Mass’ will feature alongside a wonderful selection of traditional festive carols for all.  Book early to avoid disappointment!
